I am pursuing a career as a freelance writer. Currently, I’m writing for a local parenting magazine and focused on building my clip portfolio. When I am not pitching ideas to magazines, I enjoy reading, writing poetry, scrapbooking, yoga/pilates, spending time with my nephew, and trying out new restaurants in NYC. My writing is mainly focused on health and family issues. The Write of Passage will feature my writing experiences and it also showcases my comic strip for writers called The Write Stuff.

Hmmm. Interesting site you’ve got, here. Lots of ideas on the other page that I liked very much. Sounds like you are a very busy lady! Thanks for writing back & forth with me on the Writers Market Community site. Is there any way that the print for this site could be larger text? It’s so small I’m straining my eyes. Other then that, I have no suggestions. You’re doing a great job! Keep up the hard work, good lady. As far as where I get my anecdotes for stories, well, I have no 1 source. I take it as it comes, as the inspiration strikes my pen’s (or typing finger’s) fancy. Keep finding & making reasons to smile.
